Isaac Kofi Maafo is a Ghanaian technology entrepreneur, AI consultant, author, and speaker. He is the Managing Partner of DigiTransact AI — one of Africa's leading AI consulting firms — and the Executive Director of BulkSMS Ghana, which provides enterprise-grade messaging infrastructure to banks, government agencies, schools, and businesses nationwide.

With over 33 years of experience in ICT leadership and digital transformation, Isaac has designed and deployed more than 100 AI systems and trained over 2,000 professionals in AI strategy, tools, and implementation across the African continent. His work spans finance, agriculture, education, legal, and government sectors.

Isaac holds professional certifications from Stanford University, the University of Pennsylvania, Lund University, Vanderbilt University, and Johns Hopkins University. He is the author of Technology and the Future of Work in Africa (2025) and Shielded: The Ultimate Guide to Internet Security and Data Protection (2022), and has published research in the Global Scientific Journals on AI and gender equity.

Beyond consulting, Isaac has founded seven technology ventures — DigiTransact AI, AfricanGPT, BulkSMS Ghana, GhanaSmart Legal, FarmSmart, Mastermind, and GhanaEats — each addressing a specific dimension of Africa's digital infrastructure gap.
